Axial flow fans are widely used, that is, the airflow in the same direction as the axial direction of the blades, such as electric fans, and fans of air conditioners are axial flow fans. It is called "axial flow" because the gas flows parallel to the fan axis. Axial flow fans are usually used in places with higher flow requirements and lower pressure requirements. Axial fans fix the position and move the air. Axial flow fans are mainly composed of fan impeller and casing. The structure is simple but the data requirements are very high.Axial fans Manufacturers

    working principle

When the impeller rotates, the gas enters the impeller axially from the air inlet, and is pushed by the blades on the impeller to increase the energy of the gas, and then flows into the guide vane. The guide vane changes the deflected airflow into axial flow, and at the same time introduces the gas into the diffuser, further converts the gas kinetic energy into pressure energy, and finally introduces into the working pipeline.

Axial flow fan blades work similarly to aircraft wings. However, the latter applies the lift upwards to the wings and supports the weight of the aircraft, while the axial fan fixes the position and moves the air.

The cross section of a axial flow fan is generally a wing section. The blade can be fixed or rotated about its longitudinal axis. The angle of the blades to the airflow or the blade spacing may be non-adjustable or adjustable. Changing blade angle or pitch is one of the main advantages of axial flow fans. Small blade pitch angles result in lower flow, while increasing pitch results in higher flow.

Advanced axial flow fans can change the blade pitch when the fan is running (this is quite similar to the helicopter rotor), thereby changing the flow accordingly. This is called a variable blade (VP) axial fan.
